Billy Harris reaches first ATP Tour quarter-final

British tennis player Billy Harris has reached his first ATP Tour quarter-final with a victory over Giovanni Mpetshi at the ATP London tournament.

The 29-year-old Harris, ranked 125th in the world, defeated Mpetshi, ranked 105th, in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 in the second round of the tournament.

Harris, who is making his second appearance at the ATP Tour level, has been in impressive form this week. He defeated world No. 85 Jack Draper in the first round and has now won four consecutive matches in London.

Harris will next face top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals. Tsitsipas, ranked fifth in the world, is the defending champion in London and will be a tough test for Harris.

However, Harris will be confident of causing an upset after his impressive performances this week. He has shown that he has the game to compete at the highest level and will be looking to continue his good form against Tsitsipas.
