Bill Maher Scorches Barack Obama over Hamas Comments

Maher slams media's "pro-Hamas bent" and Obama's Israel-Hamas "moral equivalency"
Last night on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, the host once again addressed the escalating Israel-Hamas conflict, this time leveling harsh criticism at former President Barack Obama.
Maher took particular issue with Obama's comments that seemed to draw a moral equivalence between Israel and Hamas. "I think Obama is basically right, but it's tough to say it when you're not in office," Rosen said. "It sounds like Monday morning quarterbacking."
Maher also lambasted the media for its alleged "pro-Hamas bent." He argued that many outlets have been giving Hamas a platform to spread its propaganda while ignoring Israel's perspective.
"The media has been incredibly pro-Hamas in this conflict," Maher said. "They've been giving Hamas a free pass to spew their hateful rhetoric, while ignoring the fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization that has been firing rockets into Israel for years."
Maher's comments come as the Israel-Hamas conflict continues to escalate. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets into Israel, while Israel has responded with airstrikes and a ground invasion. The conflict has already claimed the lives of hundreds of people.
