City Of Detroit Unveils Parking Tailgating Gameplan For Lions Season Opener At Ford Field

## Actual parking info **Parking:** Fans can enter the Ford Field parking lots beginning at 7 a.m. on gameday. RVs and oversized vehicles must enter through Lot 1, located off of Brush Street. All other vehicles are to enter through Lot 2 located just south of the Fisher Freeway off of 6th Street. Parking for cars will cost $40 and $50 for buses and RVs. Season parking passes are available for purchase for $250. Handicapped parking is available in Lot 1 and Lot 2 on a first-come, first-serve basis. **Tailgating:** Lions fans are welcome to tailgate before and after the game. Tailgating is allowed in all Ford Field parking lots beginning 4 hours before kickoff. The tailgating areas will close one hour after the conclusion of the game. Fans can bring their own grills and food, but no glass bottles are allowed. Alcoholic beverages are allowed but must be consumed within the designated tailgating areas. ## Additional fan information **Bag policy:** Ford Field has a clear bag policy. Fans are permitted to bring one clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" into the stadium. **Security:** Fans will be subject to a security screening before entering Ford Field. Please arrive early to allow ample time for the screening process. **Prohibited items:** The following items are prohibited from being brought into Ford Field: * Weapons of any kind * Alcohol * Glass bottles * Large bags or backpacks * Umbrellas * Fireworks * Laser pointers * Strollers * Pets (except service animals) **Note:** This information is subject to change.
